Educational Packs

All our shows come with free educational packs for teachers, featuring valuable classroom resources and materials linked to the show’s themes. This allows teachers to work with students before, during, and after the performance, enhancing their learning experience and encouraging deeper engagement with the material.

Q & A

All performances are followed by a Q&A session, providing students with the opportunity to interact directly with our actors. This engaging experience allows students to ask questions, gain insights into the creative process, and learn from professionals in the field, further enriching their understanding of the performance and the themes explored.

Inspiring Students Through Theatre

Workshops & Masterclasses

J. Productions offers a rich programme of workshops and masterclasses designed to engage, educate, and empower students of all ages. Led by world-class industry professionals — including directors, actors, writers, and musicians — our sessions are tailored to complement classroom learning while developing students’ creativity, confidence, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.

What We Offer

  • Shakespeare in Performance: Explore the language, characters, and themes of Shakespeare through dynamic, accessible workshops. Students gain tools to unlock complex texts, embody character through movement and voice, and discover the timeless relevance of Shakespeare’s stories.
  • Theatre and Song: Combine vocal performance with dramatic storytelling to bring scenes and songs to life. These sessions develop both musical and acting skills, and are particularly effective for engaging students in musical theatre, cabaret, and ensemble-based work.
  • Classic Theatre: Dive into timeless works of drama from ancient Greece to 20th-century greats. Students explore performance styles, historical context, and the dramatic structures that continue to shape modern theatre.
  • Scriptwriting and Devising: Learn the art of crafting original scenes and plays, from the spark of an idea to a polished performance. These workshops empower students to find their voice, collaborate creatively, and experiment with form and structure.
  • Custom Sessions: We also create bespoke workshops based on your school’s specific curriculum, current themes, or project goals — whether for enrichment days, drama clubs, or cross-curricular initiatives.

Performance Projects & Summer Camps

In addition to our in-school offerings, we organize immersive summer camps and school theatre projects, where students take centre stage in full-scale productions. From auditions to final performance, students collaborate with professional theatre and music practitioners to rehearse and present high-quality shows for their peers and wider community. These collaborative projects offer:

  • A hands-on, professional rehearsal process that mirrors real-world theatre-making
  • Opportunities for all students to contribute, whether onstage as actors, in the ensemble, or behind the scenes in design, stage management, or marketing
  • A powerful sense of ownership, teamwork, and accomplishment that stays with students long after the final bow

Our camps and school productions can be themed around classical texts, contemporary plays, devised pieces, or musicals — and are fully customizable to suit your educational and logistical needs.

Whether you’re looking for a one-off session, a series of workshops, or a full-scale performance collaboration, JProductions brings energy, expertise, and artistry to every educational experience.

All of our practitioners are not only experienced performers and creatives, but also highly skilled educators. Each member of our team is a dedicated performing arts pedagogue, with extensive experience in working with students of different ages, backgrounds, and levels of ability.
